Additional Support
Ground Transportation & Transitions
Non-emergency ground transport at both ends of the trip: hospital, care facility, or home.
Air travel is usually the part people think about first, but most cases involve just as much coordination on the ground, getting the patient from a hospital bed to the airport, and from the arrival gate to wherever they’re headed next.
What’s included
- Non-emergency ground transport at the point of origin and at the destination
- Transitions between hospitals, care facilities, and private residences
- Timing coordinated against the flight itinerary, so there’s no gap in supervision between legs
Who this is for
Any patient whose trip involves a facility-to-airport, airport-to-facility, or facility-to-facility transfer, which, in practice, is nearly every case Skyline Medix coordinates. This service is built into repatriation and commercial airline medical travel cases by default, and can also be arranged on its own for a local, non-emergency transition.
Talk to us about the transitions your case needs.
